Spent eelgrass, reeds, clam shells
My practice generally involves borrowing gifts left by tidal currents—in this case, eelgrass, reeds, and clamshells—and assemble them into something new. I deliberately stage my creations within the intertidal zone to contend with the tides and, by doing so, return them to the sea.
