Seamound/Seawreath

As the saying goes, “Time and tide wait for no one.” The flood was literally lapping at my boots as I created a seamound on the mudflat using spent eelgrass, spent bull kelp stipes, clamshell pieces, an oystershell, a barnacled stick, rocks, driftwood, and one shard of seaglass.
Within hours, the rising tide subsequently lifted the seamound, gently transforming it into a floating seawreath that the current sent sailing into the sea.
