COMPRESSED BAMBOO

May - September 2024

What began as thinning a bamboo hedge ended as an installation in the rock face that mimics the veins and crevices of the hard surface.

Substantial force was required to set these stalks in place. I soaked a few in the bay for greater flexibility.
